PE in Kestrels
Today, in our PE lesson the children in Kestrels have been able to have a go on our fabulous equipment in the hall. They have managed their own risks and tried to explore different ways they can travel, climb and dismount safely.

As well as being a Pupil Governor, Ben is now also a Trust Pupil Leader and attended his first meeting at Manor Primary yesterday afternoon. We are really proud of Ben and know that he will do an amazing job representing Anker Valley at these meetings.
Dragonflies loved having their first family library session today.

Year 1 had a fabulous afternoon on their tour of Tamworth. They visited the industrial estate, Hopwas village, the Robert Peel Hospital and Ventura. They also looked at the different types of houses and spotted the rivers and canals.
We love seeing what the children have been achieving at home through Tapestry and celebrating this in school. Isla-May has been working hard on her letter formation using some of our Little Wandle resources. Amazing work Isla-May - keep it up!!
Please share achievements from home with us, as we love to celebrate these with the children.
We are very lucky that Ben Davis our local postman is also an author. He took some time out from posting letters today to come into school and share some of his work with us. Ben spoke about his job as an author, and shared how he gets his ideas. He read extracts from some of his stories with us and also signed copies of books the children had purchased and brought into school with them. The children had the chance to ask questions too! A massive thank you to Ben from Year 2 and Year 3.
