Published 17/06/25We were very lucky today to be joined by former Aston Villa and Leicester City player Marc Albrighton, who delivered football training sessions to each of our classes as part of our Sports Week.
The children learnt lots of new skills and even got to have a penalty shoot out! Huge thank you to Marc for joining us today!

Published 16/06/25To start off Sports Week at Anker Valley, we were joined this morning by Cheer Sport Alpha. They carried out a cheerleading workshop with each of our classes and the final results were incredibly impressive! The children will all be bringing a leaflet home with them today, as Alpha offer clubs outside of school which parents might be interested in.

Published 13/06/25Year 3 had an amazing time at Cadbury World this week. They learnt lots about how chocolate was made and influences from the Ancient Mayans. They even bought back some delicious samples to take home with them!
