Anker Valley Clubs
At Anker Valley Primary Academy, we run a range of enrichment activities both during the school day and after school. Our enrichment clubs at lunchtime and after school provide pupils with varied opportunities throughout the academic year to access fun, educational experiences.
We know how important it is for children to learn about active lifestyles and, in addition to their PE lessons, we provide all children with resources to support active break and lunch times as well as access to our trim trail and woodlands. We also provide extra-curricular sports clubs for the children to supplement our PE curriculum, for example, yoga, dance, football (these vary term to term).
We conduct a booking systems and ensure that we offer after school opportunities for all pupils, from Reception to Year 6. When allocating spaces, priority is given to children who have not already enrolled in a club. Please be aware that some clubs are run by outside providers. This information will be indicated on the information sent out to parents before the enrolment form is shared.
Below you can see the clubs that are on offer each term (this will be added to as clubs are announced).
